How is activated carbon made? |

|
There are two means for having chars activated, one is chemical activation,
and the other is physical activation. Chemical activation often
uses zinc chloride and phosphoric acid as activation agents, and
is often applied to activation of raw materials like sawdust.
As for Physical activation, it often uses heated steam and carbon
dioxide as activation agents, and is often applied to activation
of coal, wood, nutshell, etc. The following are procedures of
